Quality
In the horse breeding at the moment, there is no quality standard in Germany that marks a foal, grown up after certain quality characteristics. Heraldic Horses do meet the following quality criterions.
The Brood Mares
They are State Prime Mares, Performance Tested Main Stud Book Mares or Sport proven mares, listed in the German FEI Performance Stud Book.
Are vaccinated twice a year, get 4-6 times in a year medicine against parasites and the black smith looks after them like tournament horses.
Are fed after a manufacturer independent ration calculation software
Do not receive pellets, since the quality of the reason feed is unknown.
Do have very much free movement outdoors every day.
Receive a great vet check before the high in foal time incl. a blood examination.
The Sires, we use for breeding
Are successful in the international sport or
Successful with the German Federal Champion Chip or
Successful with the World Champion Chip of Young Sport Horses or
Achievement in their discipline a FEI breeding value of 130 index points and better, or
Passed very good Performance Test (Class 1) and transmitted them very good in a first breeding year.
The Foals
Find inutero optimal growth conditions by feeding the mother after ration calculation
Are vaccinated against paralysis after the birth
Get medicine against parasites at the 9 th life day and then all 4-6 weeks
Receive Equistro Haemolytan Vitamin and Mineral syrup for the first weeks
Further get Equistro Mega Base Junior until they are 6 months
Have very much pasture walk and free movement outdoors
Are visited by the black smith all 4-6 weeks
Are fed with natural muesli - no pellets.
Are accustomed at the respectful contact with the human being
Get at the age of 5 - 6 months before the delivery at the new owner the first vaccination against Herpes, Tetanuses and Influenza.
