Sportsmann

 

is mentioned in the book “Die Ahnen des Hannoveraner“ by Wolfgang von Unger, as state stud stallion in Celle, who descends on mother's hand by the legendary Darley Arabian *1702. Darley was at his days an absolutely stamp stallion, is one of the 3 stallions who founded the English TB and is included today in the pedigrees of Ladykiller xx, Lauries Crusador xx, Contender und Quidam de Revel.
